cute and with pockets

I ordered a 22 (48" bust/ 51" hip) after reading it was a little tight in another review, I could have maybe gone down a size. I had already put it on before realizing there was a zipper.

Amazing print but..

... I had to return it. Gutted as I'd been hoping for a dress in this print as me and dungas don't go (too tall so they never sit right). I'm between sizes and bought the upper size as I tend to have issues with things being tight round my tummy. Compared to my other R&F tea dress that fits nicely and is true to size, this was a very different fit across the chest / arms - waaay too tight. Room to spare over my middle and as usual too much over the hips; I could have coped with this but not when it was tight up top (esp as I'm not busty). With the change in the pinny styles too I think my R&F days might be over :(

Adorable but not very stretchy

The print is absolute adorable and it's great to have fun prints in clothing less informal than dungarees (not that there's anything wrong with dungarees - I own many pairs - but sometimes a situation calls for a dress!)

I wear a size 14 usually and originally ordered a 14 but found it tight around the arms. I returned it for a 16 which is a little looser elsewhere but is still not loose around the arms. The exchange process was very simple

The belt is a great addition and allows for greater flexibility on those bloated days

This is my first 'stretch' dress from R&F and I was definitely expecting more stretch. Don't get me wrong, the fabric feels lovely and high quality and holds the pleats in the skirt well - it just isn't what I would describe as stretch fabric so don't expect much leeway if you are between sizes and size down

The only thing stopping me from giving this dress 5 stars is the sleeves - even sizing up from my usual size they feel somewhat restrictive. Looking on other dresses of the same style, there's mentions of the sleeves being tight in other reviews so I don't think it's just me!

Gorgeous pattern

Just love these dresses they're so easy to wear. It also washes so well, with it being easy to dry. The pattern on this dress is gorgeous 😍. Defo 💯% recommend this.
