I love the fabric of this skirt and was so excited to try it on and then so very disappointed. I ordered a size 8 based on the measurements provided in the chart above. Unfortunately, the measurements (except for the waist) are wildly inaccurate. The waist is approximately 29” which is the same as the chart above. The hips on mine are 35” and the chart says 36”. The flat hem width on mine is 20” and the chart says 21”. The length on mine is 17.5” and the chart says 16.75”. I don’t mind the longer length, but smaller hips are problematic. The skirt fits my waist but is very tight on my hips making the buttons gape open in the front. I love the fabric and the skirt design, but I wish the measurement chart matched the actual garment I received.
